The usual worries.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
No, if it’s done right. Every old URL is redirected to its new page, titles and descriptions move over, and we watch Search Console after launch. Most sites gain over the following weeks because they load faster.
Will my email stop working?
No. Email lives in separate DNS records. We copy them across before anything changes, and test sending and receiving after the switch.
Can I still make changes myself?
Yes, if you want to. We can add a simple editor for text, photos and prices. Most clients just send us a message instead, and that’s included in every plan.
How long does it take?
Usually 1–2 weeks for a small business site, depending on size. Your old site stays live until the new one is ready.
What does it cost?
Fixed price from $650, quoted before we start. Payment works like every project: a $220 deposit, half the balance after the first draft, the rest at launch. A monthly plan is optional and starts only after launch.
What happens to my domain?
It moves to an account in your name at a registrar. If it was bought or transferred in the last 60 days, we wait until that window passes. That’s a registrar rule, not ours.
I paid my builder for a year ahead. Is that money lost?
Not necessarily. We can prepare everything now and switch closer to the end of your paid period. We’ll also help you check the builder’s refund rules.
